Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only assist unemployed women?
No, we get why you would think that but our services are extended to any and every individual who requires CV update, interview guidance and job search assistance.

Can I come to your office and have a face to face consultation call?
Unfortunately, due to us trying our best to adhere to COVID-19 protocols, we would prefer hosting our consultation calls via Zoom.

Is a 30-minute consultation call enough time to discuss my CV?
Yes, we go into the consultation call knowing exactly what we need from our clients. We follow a schedule that allows sufficient time to cover all the necessary aspects.

What if my internet is not stable enough for a Zoom call?
A Sister Assist team member will arrange an alternative means to connect with you; whether it be via a WhatsApp call or video call.

How many times can I reschedule my consultation call?
Due to the number of no shows for the consultation calls, you are only allowed to reschedule your consultation call once, after that your CV will be completed without a consultation. Due to the limited available time slots, we need to make sure we are able to fit in as many clients as needed.

What is the turnaround time for my CV?
All three directors are employed full time and work on Sister Assist after hours. We will try our best to get your CV back to you within 3 to 5 business days. Please be patient with us. This does NOT include weekends and public holidays.

What are your trading hours?
We are open Monday - Friday, 18h00-21h00. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.

Can I request any changes to be made to my updated CV?
Yes, as long as it is within the specified time stipulated in your chosen CV package. If it is outside the stipulated time frame, it will be your responsibility to make those changes.

Can I get a refund or exchange?
Unfortunately, no refunds or exchanges are allowed under any circumstances.

If I apply for vacancies posted on Friday Fix, can you put in a good word for me?
No, Sister Assist is not affiliated with any organisation of whom we post job vacancies for. We are mainly seen as a tool, providing you with access to job vacancies suited to your needs. It is the clients responsibility to manage the application process.

How do you know the job vacancies you post are not a scam?
We have our internal checks to make sure the jobs we post are genuine, however it is up to the client to perform any necessary checks to ensure their safety.

Do you charge for your interview guidance and job search offering?
No, we do this free of charge. We are open to any questions and concerns around the interview and job search process, and love to use our skills and knowledge to help you in this regard.
